Alpinedge's business activities revolve around AI development and deployment for regulated organizations. When dealing with data, we want our conduct to be exemplary. In particular, we only engage in lawful and ethical activities, and we meet or exceed industry best practices with respect to data security and confidentiality.

For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection ("nDSG"), the Data Controller is Alpinedge .

The GDPR and Swiss data protection laws give you the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland, the competent authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

What personal data we collect

The personal data we collect varies depending on your relationship with us:

Job candidates: We collect information on your past employment and education to evaluate your fit for open roles. These decisions are made by people, not automated systems.

Employees and freelancers: We collect additional information (such as national ID numbers, AVS/AHV numbers, bank account details) to handle contracts, payment, social security, and required reporting to Swiss authorities.

Clients and suppliers: We collect basic contact details to manage our business relationships professionally.

Website visitors and newsletter subscribers: We may collect contact details and work information to communicate more effectively with you.

Others: We handle other situations on a case-by-case basis, always limiting data collection to what's needed for that specific purpose.

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, or data about sex life or sexual orientation.

We also do not systematically collect or process data from public sources like social networks on a large scale.

How we use personal data

We may use personal data for:

For employees or freelancers who have left, we keep data for up to 24 months after their last day of work.
